Are you a wolf lover? This amazing design comes from Emily Carr Design Institute student Ella Kosovic to support our #SaveBCWolves campaign. The wolf's paw print is filled with the rings of old growth forest trees - the habitat endangered caribou need to survive. As habitat is logged or fragmented with resource roads, super-highway travel corridors are created and attract predators like wolves, bears and cougars away from other ungulate prey. Without old growth forests, caribou cannot be the natural social distances they are, and the B.C. government resorts to an aerial wolf-killing program described as a 'palliative' measure by caribou scientists.
